Material and sustainability
The Stapelstein® elements are made from a single type of plastic: EPP, expanded with water vapor. About 96% of the volume consists of air. The material contains no phthalate plasticizers and is dyed throughout, meaning the color cannot flake off.
The elements are produced in Germany and are fully recyclable. The packaging is made of cardboard, without plastic film.
Safety
The Stapelstein® products bear the CE mark according to the EU toy directive 2009/48/EC and have been tested according to EN 71-3. They have no sharp corners or edges.
When used in water, the elements are toys and not swimming aids. Use them only in shallow water and under adult supervision. When balancing on slippery floors, the use of a rug or play mat is recommended.
The Stapelstein® Rainbow Set Limited Edition offers children an open play world where movement, building, exploration, and imagination fully come together.
