PLA (Polylactic Acid), also called bioplastic; is a material derived from renewable plant-based sources. It is both plant-based and biodegradable, easily recyclable, and compostable. PLA pellets are made from agricultural products and can be processed into safe, sustainable products that leave a smaller ecological footprint than virgin plastic.
