There are more than 8 activities to discover on the 5 sides of the cube, including: a metal xylophone with a little hammer, a scratching post, a convex mirror, a treadmill, 4 wooden pieces (flower, hazelnut, dragonfly and leaf) that you can place on top or use with the shape sorter on the side, a spool that rings a bell and cymbals, and finally a frog that moves up and down whilst spinning round the sun. On the side of the shape sorter is a magnetic door through which you can remove the pieces. Note the plastic hinges, which are easy to fix if the door comes loose.
